David began his CrossFit journey in 2008 and there has been no looking back since. As a CrossFit Level 1 (CF-L1) Trainer he is thrilled to bring his passion and excitement for CrossFit to South Kingstown. With over 30 years of martial arts training and teaching experience, he has competed at the sports highest levels and holds the rank of black belt. David happily continues his training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. CPR certified, ACLS instructor.
Steve grew up participating in traditional American sports with a passion for health and fitness. Steve trained in bodybuilding for many years until 2008 when a friend recommended CrossFit. Steve was soon addicted to the intense workouts, the constant variation, and the camaraderie that is so unique to CrossFit. It has been over 5 years now since converting to CrossFit and Steve has never looked back.

Peter is a United States Coast Guard Veteran who got involved in lifting when he was a Presidential Guard. As a professional diver he also taught SCUBA and was a swimming instructor for the Special Olympics. CrossFit has provided the team environment and unexpected challenge that he has been accustomed to.

As a physical therapist, Lisa has extensive experience with the functional movement philosophy of CrossFit. She has been teaching exercise to people of all ages for over 15 years and loves to practice what she preaches. On any given day you may see Lisa training CrossFit, running, or most recently attempting ROMWOD. CPR certified. Lisa is a CrossFit Level 2 (CF-L2) Trainer.

Roger is an avid outdoors athlete who can be found surfing with his kids whenever possible. He has noted signficant improvements in surfing and his triathlons since starting CrossFit.
Kristen, a PE teacher at the Gordon School, enjoys teaching movement to students of all ages. She discovered CrossFit 3 years ago and was immediately hooked after suffering defeat at the hands of “Fran” (still her least favorite WOD). Kristen holds the following CF certifications: CF-L1, CF Olympic Lifting, CF Kids and has participated in the Carl Paoli Freestyle Gymnastics Movement seminar and the Outlaw Way Training Camp with Rudy Nielsen.

Nicole is a native Rhode Islander and has always had a passion for fitness. She has been a doing CrossFit since 2013 and feels that the functional movements combined with the CrossFit community have helped her to be in the best shape of her life. When she isn’t training, she enjoys competing in obstacle course races, camping, and being outdoors. Nicole is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer.
Tim is an Army veteran and he has been employed by the Providence Police Department for 24 years. Tim has had a life long interest in health, fitness and athletics. He found CrossFit South Kingstown in 2012 and immediately fell in love with the functionality and spirit of the sport as well as the camaraderie and community of CFSK. He enjoys working with athletes as they attempt to improve their fitness, skills and overall well being.
Keith found CFSK in 2012 and immediately fell in love with all aspects of CrossFit – the physical benefits, the mental clarity and emotional release, and the sense of community in the gym. He’s happy to be a part of seeing all of our athletes take another step towards becoming a more healthy, fit person.
As a sports medicine physician, Charlotte has extensive knowledge in the musculoskeletal system, including proper movement mechanics, application of training, and injury prevention. She is a former collegiate equestrian and avid triathlete who found CrossFit in 2011. She immediately fell in love with the idea of constantly-varied functional fitness. She loves working with athletes to develop proper technique and movement patterns. She encourages a well-rounded approach, including smart training, adequate sleep, and whole food nutrition.
Paul started CrossFit training in 2011 as an opportunity to bring his fitness to a higher level. He saw noticeable gains in overall strength, explosive power, and cardiovascular capacity that translated to improvements on the soccer field.
The challenging variation of CrossFit WODs, combined with the motivation and camaraderie that come from working out as team keep Paul coming back for more and wanting to share the experience with others. “CrossFit is for everyone; the first step is getting yourself in the door!”
When he’s not working out at CrossFit South Kingstown Paul loves obstacle course racing and hiking the mountains of New England.
Scott grew up in South Kingstown and has been active in team sports his entire life. In college Scott began a traditional weightlifting program to stay in shape between sports seasons. After college Scott tried a myriad of things to stay in shape including running, traditional weight lifting, and P90X. Scott discovered CrossFit South Kingstown and found it not only kept him in the best shape but had the same competitive and team like atmosphere that he loved about traditional sports. CPR/AED certified.
